Elizabeth Koza is an MA Candidate in History at Stony Brook University. She fell in love with Medieval Spanish History, in particular, during her time as an undergrad at SUNY New Paltz. Her passion for the subject led to presentation at various conferences, publication of her undergraduate thesis, and stints of time living in Spain for research (and relaxation) purposes. When she’s not buried in a pile of books, as a self-proclaimed foodie, you can find her developing new recipes or trying out exotic cuisines in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood of New York City. Feel free to follow her on Twitter for an eclectic assortment of tweets including things relevant to travel, food, craft beer, history, academia, teaching, news, and puns. To highlight her daily life as she transitions from graduate school to the real world, she decided to begin a 365 Project and take a photo each day for a year. You can engage in this journey with her on Instagram.
